The Mercers - Tony, Ashley, Logan, Jackson, Owen and Cash
Rocking M Farms was established January 28, 1897 when John Ingles Morrison purchased 90 acres from F.S. & Adella Bennett for $55 per acre. Located in the rolling hills of southern Iowa, just south of Tingley, the farm has since grown to cover 450 acres. Passed down to his son Herschel Jay Morrison, to his son Roger Earl Morrison, to his daughter Lori Denise (Morrison) Mercer, to her son Tony Mercer who now lives on the farm is the great great grandson of John Ingles and represents the fifth generation, his sons representing the sixth generation to live on and work the land.
